About Slymbee

Health is changing. We’re here to make sense of it.

Weight loss has changed dramatically.

GLP-1 medicines have transformed the conversation. Nutrition is being reconsidered. Strength, movement, sleep and long-term health matter more than ever. And every day brings another study, headline, product, supplement, opinion or piece of advice telling us what we should be doing.

It can be a lot.

Slymbee exists to make it simpler.

We’re building a modern health and weight-management publication for people who want to understand what’s changing, discover what might genuinely be useful and make better-informed decisions about their health.

No lectures. No perfection. No need to become a health obsessive.

Just useful information, interesting ideas and things worth knowing.

The newsletter is at the heart of Slymbee.

Every week, we’ll bring together our pick of what’s happening across weight loss, GLP-1s and health in one easy-to-read edition.

Expect a main story, things worth knowing, meal inspiration, movement ideas, product discoveries, useful videos and a quick look at what’s happening across the GLP-1 world.

  • Designed to be useful.
  • Designed to be enjoyable.
  • And designed to be read with your morning coffee rather than saved to a folder you’ll never open again.

Why we built Slymbee

There’s never been more information about health.

That’s part of the problem.

Social media gives everyone an opinion. Search results give you thousands of answers. New products appear constantly. Health headlines can make yesterday’s advice sound obsolete by breakfast.

And the extraordinary growth of GLP-1 medicines has created an entirely new audience of people thinking differently about weight, food, exercise and long-term health.

We thought there was room for something better.

  • Not another diet brand.
  • Not another fitness influencer.
  • Not another clinical website written as though everybody has a medical degree.
  • And not a publication that makes being healthy feel like a full-time job.

We wanted to build something we’d actually want to read ourselves.

  • Smart without being academic.
  • Credible without being clinical.
  • Positive without pretending everything is easy.
  • Useful without taking itself too seriously.

That’s Slymbee.

How we choose what to cover

We’re interested in one question:

Is this genuinely worth knowing?

  • That might mean an important new piece of GLP-1 research.
  • It could be a protein-packed breakfast that takes five minutes.
  • A surprisingly useful piece of fitness equipment.
  • A new health app.
  • A study that challenges conventional thinking.
  • Or simply an idea that might make someone’s week a little healthier.

We aim to separate useful information from noise and explain things in language normal people actually use.

Health-related content is produced and reviewed with care, but Slymbee is an editorial publication rather than a healthcare provider. Our content is general information and isn’t a substitute for personalised medical advice.

How Slymbee makes money

Slymbee is free to read and our newsletter is free to receive.

We make money in several ways, including commercial partnerships and affiliate links.

That means that when we link to some products or services, we may receive a commission if you decide to buy something or sign up.

It shouldn’t cost you more.

More importantly, a commercial relationship doesn’t automatically earn something a recommendation.

We want Slymbee to become a publication people trust. Recommending rubbish for a quick commission would be a fairly effective way of destroying that.

Where there’s a relevant commercial relationship, we’ll aim to make it clear.

You can read more in our Terms of Use and Affiliate Disclosure.

Our principles

  • Be useful

If something doesn’t inform, explain, inspire or help, it probably doesn’t need publishing.

  • Be understandable

Health can be complicated. Our job isn’t to make it sound more complicated.

  • Be curious

Health science evolves. Good publications should be willing to question assumptions, follow new evidence and change their minds.

  • Be transparent

If there’s a commercial relationship behind something we’re talking about, readers deserve to know.

  • Be human

Real life involves takeaways, missed workouts, busy weeks and changing plans.

We’re interested in helping people live healthier lives — not pretending perfect ones exist.

Come with us
